Located in North Austin, TX, this rapidly growing fintech company with a community bank charter is looking for engineering talent to support new development for a credit-building product. They're hiring for a full time, direct hire Senior Software Architect who can design and develop microservices using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and AWS. This Architect will be would be expected to lead software architecture and development of one or more of their product initiatives end-to-end by working closely with globally distributed engineering teams to deliver best-in-class software solutions.

Required Skills4-6+ years of software architecture experience

• Experience developing and designing microservices using Java and Spring Boot (or related frameworks)
• Knowledge of AWS technologies (EKS, ECS, Fargate, etc.) or services within a similar public cloud
• Advanced knowledge of data structures and experience using PostgreSQL or a Relational Database Management System (MySQL, etc.)

Bonus Skills

• Significant experience within the fintech industry
• Exposure to Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks on the frontend
• Experience to containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
