Director of Engineering / Head of Software Development

We're looking for an Engineering Leader who believes in the power of leveraging the internet, blockchains, and digital currency in order to impact the global economy.

Position: Director of Engineering

Location: Hybrid Remote / Onsite - must be local to the Los Angeles area and enjoy collaborating in-office with other team-members

This is a full-time (w-2) role with an extensive and lucrative benefits, bonus program, and stock options.

Skillset:

• 7+ years of leadership within software engineering 
• Must have a strong hands-on background in software development, and well-versed in various languages (Java, Python, Node, C#, etc)
• Experience building multiple tech products from scratch
• Able to project manage various software projects and life-cycles 
• Strong knowledge of modern technologies - JavaScript frameworks, Cloud, Big Data / NoSQL, DevOps, DevSecOps, Mobile, serverless, event-driven architecture, etc.
• Background within Blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi, FinTech, Web3 will be key for this role
• Strong people leader - experience mentoring and inspiring Engineering teams
• Previous start-up experience
