Full Stack Web Engineer

About the Company: A well-funded and innovative consumer products company that redefines childhood learning and development.

Location: Fully Remote (HQ in Boise, ID)

Compensation: Up to $160,000/year (depending on experience) + stock options

Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of back-end platform, services and API’s to support their high trafficked web and mobile platforms

Qualifications for Success:

• 3+ years of experience developing back end platforms using Ruby on Rails. We are open to considering strong Python developers interested in working with Ruby
• Solid experience working in a AWS or Cloud based infrastructure
• Strong SQL based DB experience. Graph or Neo4j experience is a plus
• Any full stack experience using JavaScript, React and HTML is plus though the position is mostly back end focused
• Any experience building platforms, services and API’s that support B2C E-Commerce, subscription services, or mobile apps is a big plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BSCS or similar degree is preferred
