Sr. Software Architect

This company is going on 10 years in business and has been experiencing tremendous growth in the last few years. 2020 was a huge year for them as they directly serve essential businesses - this resulted in a huge uptick in customers, with many more signing on in 2021 so they are in need of a strong hands-on Software Architect to help lead the migration and refactoring of their current code base.

The teams are working remote, however this person must be local to Los Angeles and willing to work onsite post pandemic. 

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in a Software Architect role
• 10+ years of overall software development experience
• Must have strong cloud experience using AWS
• Must have experience with event event-driven architecture (e.g., Kinesis, Flink, Kafka)
• Must be hands-on with JavaScript (React and Node)
• Strong database knowledge in both RDBMS (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (Mongo, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Strong plus for message queues experience (rabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with Graph databases and GraphQL is nice to have

Compensation / perks:

• Salary ranging from $200K - $220K, doe
