Python Software Engineer - Python Data Engineer

Leading SaaS company is revolutionizing the way businesses and consumers transact with one another, in a seamless manner across any platform. This product is used by well-known customers across various verticals, and this Software Engineer will be a critical member of the Core Data Engineering team.

You will have the opportunity to develop data pipelines to enable a variety of big data workloads, business intelligence, machine learning, and data visualization. Their environment consists of real-time stream processing systems, high volume data, and are highly scalable. 

Ideal Skillset:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience with Python
• Strong plus to have knowledge of other programming languages - Node, Java, Golang, Ruby, C#, etc.
• Experience with modern JavaScript technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, Ember, etc.
• SQL (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Spark, Elasticsearch / ELK)
• Strong plus for AWS experience - moving toward serverless technologies, such as AWS Lambda
• Must have a BSCS (Computer Science) degree
• Strong communication and collaboration skills - able to work efficiently with an onshore remote team
