A biotechnology startup in Research Triangle Park and celebrating over 13 years in business is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer to develop desktop applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for their proprietary single cell sorting product using C#, WPF, WinForms,.NET with Visual Studio, and SQL. This is a great opportunity that allows for hands-on experience with innovative technology involved in single cell workflows, image processing, and robotic controls. This engineer will be a key player in the achievement of critical milestones for software development and integrations for automated platforms.

** This role is onsite in Durham, NC

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience developing desktop applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using Windows C#, WPF, WinForms
• Experience designing and developing C#-based .NET solutions for engineering software applications
• Development experience within a Visual Studio Environment
  

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Exposure to image processing tools such as OpenCV, ImageJ, MATLAB, etc.
• Prior experience with robotic controls (ROS, C++)
• Background in development within biotech, clinical research, and/or medical device domains
