Controller – Assistant Controller

This role supports the Regional Director and CFO with all aspects of financial activities that occur within the region. Key responsibilities include being responsible for all accounting and financial operations including general ledger, revenue, inventory management, AP / AR, financial reporting & analysis, budgeting & forecasting, provide technical accounting advice, compliance, and more!

Salary: 120-140k DOE + Benefits

Location: 5x a week on-site in Commerce, CA

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years experience in a Controller capacity
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (CPA is a strong plus)
• High level of attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Strong expertise in Excel and must be proficient with pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, and other complex formulas
• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and analyses
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of GAAP and expertise in financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
