Founded out of a 20-year old marketing solutions company, this SaaS startup champions a data quality platform that screens against fraudulent survey responses within the market research space. They are hiring for a Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to the backend of their cross-platform web-mobile application using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS. Prior experience developing REST API or GraphQL services is essential. Any experience with data science projects and/or machine learning frameworks would be preferred but not required. This position if full-time, direct-hire, and fully remote.

Required Skills

• 6-7+ years of software development experience
• Experience using Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience building out REST API or GraphQL services
• Experience with relational database management systems (PostgreSQL strongly preferred)
• Exposure to Kafka
• Exposure to AWS services

Bonus Skills

• Hands-on experience with data science projects/algorithms
• Experience using Machine Learning (ML) models (i.e. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience using Fastify.js and Recursive frameworks
