As our client base grows, we're looking to bring on a Strategic Finance Analyst (Part-Time) to support client delivery and help scale internal systems. About the Role
You’ll work directly with our Founder to:
- Deliver financial insights to clients
- Build and manage dashboards and forecasting models
- Support operations through documentation, SOPs, and templates
- Help scale how we serve clients through repeatable systems
Our clients include early-stage and fast-growing companies preparing for funding rounds, building scalable models, or planning strategic exits. You’ll be on the front lines of what it takes to go from growing to unlocking real value.

What You’ll Do
Client Work (60%)
- Build & update dashboards and monthly reporting (Google Sheets + Excel)
- Analyze financial performance, cash flow, and key KPIs
- Pull and interpret reports from QuickBooks Online
- Prepare client meeting materials and track deliverables
- Conduct market research and benchmarking as needed
Internal Operations (40%)
- Create and maintain SOPs for recurring client work
- Build templates for dashboards, forecasts, and reports
- Support implementation of client tracking tools and internal metrics
- Identify and implement process improvements to scale our service delivery

Who You Are
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, consulting, accounting, or startup operations
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (bonus if you’ve built models from scratch)
- Fluency in QuickBooks
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, through a finance lens
- Detail-oriented, self-directed/motivated, and highly organized
- Creative Problem-Solver
- Comfortable working async, managing your own workflow, and adapting as we grow
- Located in or near Denver (strongly preferred)

Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Prior internships or roles supporting early-stage companies
- Experience with financial modeling, reporting, or operations
- Exposure to collaborative tools like Notion, Slack, G-Suite

Compensation
- $30–$50/hr based on experience
- ~20 hrs/week, flexible remote work
- 1099 contract (initial 3-month engagement with potential for full-time)
- Direct mentorship from the Founder and Fractional CFO
