Role Overview: As our Strategic Financial Accountant you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. You’ll support strategic decision-making with in-depth financial analysis, oversee tax payments, and coordinate audits, all while ensuring the integrity of our financial records. Your attention to detail and ability to handle multiple financial functions will play a key role in driving Fuji’s financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management : Record financial transactions in compliance with established standards, policies, and IFRT (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Month-End & Quarter-End Close: Plan, execute, and review monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Financial Reporting : Prepare internal and external financial statements to ensure transparency and support business decisions.
- Internal Control Design : Create and implement efficient internal control procedures to safeguard financial data.
- Cost & Revenue Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing key insights to improve financial performance.
- Cash and General Ledger Reconciliations : Reconcile and balance all cash accounts and various general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy.
- Treasury Support : Assist with treasury functions, helping the finance team maintain liquidity and manage cash flow.
- Audit Support : Provide internal and external audit assistance and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Cost Accounting : Expertise in tracking and managing production costs (raw materials, labor, overhead).
- Regulatory Compliance : Deep understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards, with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Reporting : Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Skills in creating and managing budgets, with the ability to forecast future financial performance.
- Analytical Expertise : Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to identify financial issues and develop effective solutions.
