We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Generalist to lead the HR functions for client partners in the Dallas Fort Worth. This professional will be the champion for employee engagement, employee relations, change management, full cycle talent acquisition and compliance. The Human Resource Generalist role requires the candidate to have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills as well as HR or recruiting experience; should possess working knowledge of HR functions and procedures, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and federal, state and local laws, such as HIPAA and COBRA. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provide functional/operational human resources guidance through planning, organizing and controlling HR activities
Serve as functional resource for employees, ensuring their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policies
Will work closely with executive leadership to make sure all HR processes are implemented smoothly and will be the primary interface between the Strategic Focus and client partners
Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate
Provide insightful HR consultation to location leaders and employees; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continual improvement
Manage recruitment effort for all exempt, non-exempt, and hourly employees; monitor recruitment program
Plan, direct and oversee the performance management process
Manage and maintain HR records and reports • Perform basic office management duties Key Skills
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as compliance
Highly autonomous, self-directed, organized and detail-oriented
Experience hiring and onboarding employees
Experience creating or managing policies that shape positive, appropriate employee behavior
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from inception through completion
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent mix of experience and education
1 to 3 years of experience in HR roles of progressively increasing responsibility
HR certifications, HRCI (SPHR/PHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred
Estimated Word Schedule:
Approximately 15 - 20 Hours per week.
Monday - Friday
Between Hours 9a - 4pm (Scheduled will be confirmed before Hire)
Flexible Work Environment:
Onsite Support will be aligned to approximately 20 - 40 Hours per month
Remote Support will be aligned to approximately 20 - 40 Hours per month
