The Assessor’s primary responsibility is to conduct the assessments of Dallas Afterschool’s partnerportfolio, assist in training facilitation, and research resources to enhance Dallas Afterschool’sProgram Quality Initiative. By using the Afterschool Quality Advancement (AQuA) assessment tool,the Assessor will observe programs, interview program staff and leaders, and collect and reviewdocuments to complete annual assessments.SCHEDULE DAYS: Monday - FridaySCHEDULE HOURS: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities:
Assessing quality at Dallas Afterschool supported sites at varying intervals throughout the Program Quality Initiative process using AQuA
Communicating clear, accurate, and useful feedback to Partnership Coaches to assist them in the coaching process
Supporting the training of new PQI team members on the assessment process
Deliberating on final assessment scores if questions arise
Assisting with regular calibration exercises
Reviewing completed assessments on Salesforce and delivering reports to partner programs
Working with partner sites to implement required safety procedures
Provide internal resource support to our partners
Maintain a professional, positive, empathetic, and professional manner when engaging with
internal and external stakeholders
Taking a key supporting role on various internal projects with the goal of improving program quality and overall stakeholder experience
Education &/or Experience:
4-year degree with a minimum of 1-year working experience in education, afterschool, and/or summer programs.
2-year degree (or pursuing a degree) with a minimum of 2-year working experience in education, afterschool and/or summer programs.
HS diploma with 10+ years of experience in afterschool/summer programs.
Passion for the importance of quality afterschool and summer programs.
Vehicle required and mileage reimbursement available.
