    Purpose Statement

    Campus Coordinator is responsible for leadership, operations, programming, administrative compliance, facility and child safety. In addition to this, the working lead role will be responsible for their own course load of classes to support In School Tutoring.

    Duties include but not limited to: credible leader others choose to follow; implement set vision; execute strategy; responsible for school operations; manage performance; accountable for relationship management for membership and program fees; programming in all area’s facility and program quality; complete all required reports and administrative duties on time; accountable for safety at assigned facility; and be a positive role model.

    What the Role Entails:

    The Campus Coordinator Lead will work with and supervise campus Tutor/Mentor Team Members.

    Assist with supervision and engagement of students in youth development and activities.

    Plan, organize, coordinate and oversee the long range and day-to-day operations of assigned In-School Programs at assigned campus location.

    Develop and implement program services at assigned school campus in accordance with both agency, state, and school district guidelines.

    Ensure a variety of educational and recreational activities that stimulate the development of youth while striving for academic gains, administrative compliance, and social-emotional learning competencies.

    Ensure programs meet all regulations and requirements of governing agencies.

    Monitor and ensure all compliance documentation is met.

    Provide leadership to assigned program campus through coaching, program oversight and administrative management.

    Learn, model and promote social-emotional learning skills.

    Articulate the Strategic Focus Education’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

    Attend all required trainings and meetings.

    Manage assigned Site Tutor/Mentors and as required, supervising up to approx. 4-5 staff members.

    Ensure adequate staffing for assigned programs; responsible for the hiring/retaining of quality staff.

    Assess personnel performance and develop professional training to address gaps.

    Promote high expectation levels with corresponding recognition for excellence and achievement.

    Work to continually improve program based on evaluations, feedback and site observations.

    Serve as a liaison between school administrators, site staff, and Strategic Focus Educational Services Leaders. Respond to concerns of participating campus administrators and parents; mediate and facilitate effective resolution of conflicts in a timely fashion.

    Help develop effective procedures and policies to ensure a productive program Help establish and monitor each program budget; abide by spending guidelines.

    Prepare and provide reports as required, and maintain regular data collection Coordinate program services through instructors, and partner providers (if applicable).

    Responsible for supervising site staff, recruiting students, facilitating the youth program activities, maintaining site, and performing program-related assignments as needed by the Programs Lead.

    Lead the day to day operations of programming and the supervision of staff at program site.

    Responsible for the supervision, safety and grouping of scholars at all times, including arrival and departure procedures and taking attendance

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma required.

    College coursework in recreation, child development, or a related field is preferred.

    Experience working with children is required.

    Experience in the area of creative arts and/or academic instruction is preferred.

    Ability to safely and successfully manage middle school, or high school age students depending on program assignment.

    Ability to build positive rapport with co-workers and work in a team/collaborative setting.

    Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

    Ability to read/respond to e-mails and text messages in a timely manner.

    Consent to a background check via fingerprinting and FC Background, which is required based on school district policy.

    Clearances are conducted and renewed annually.
