    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Strategic Initiatives Manager to support the President of MSNBC in the management and execution of key business initiatives. This role will be instrumental in turning ideas into compelling presentations and translating high-level discussions into clear, actionable project plans.

    Please note: this is a 12 – 18 month fixed term role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Presentation Development: Create high-quality, visually compelling decks that clearly communicate strategic initiatives, updates, and proposals to internal and external audiences, integrating market data, research and analytics.
    • Communications Collaboration: Partner and collaborate with the Communications function to support various employee initiatives.
    • **Meeting Support & Synthesis: **Attend leadership meetings, take structured notes, and synthesize discussions into concise summaries, decision points, and next steps.
    • Action Planning: Translate conversations and strategic ideas into structured workstreams and project plans with defined owners, milestones, and deadlines.
    • Event Management: Support leadership with event planning, including but not limited to internal presentations and employee activations, off-site meetings, and speaking engagements.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, track progress, and support initiative execution.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, executive support, or a similar role.
    • Strong presentation skills with an eye for design and clarity.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to distill complex ideas into actionable steps.
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States
    • Ability to work non-traditional work hours and weekends. Some out-of-state travel maybe required.

    Desired Experience

    • Experience working with senior leaders is a plus.
    • Strong interest and exposure to working in the media industry, ideally within news divisions.
    • BA or MBA a plus.

    Salary range: $110,000 $130,000
