Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to become an integral part of our team! If you choose to apply, your position will be responsible for creating, modifying, and debugging online web applications. These applications provide core business functionality for real estate offices in the vacation rental industry. Our development stack is primarily Microsoft-based. Our project’s codebases range from Classic ASP, VBScript, VB6, C#, .NET MVC, SQL Server, and Xamarin. In addition to our web application codebase, we commonly integrate and maintain connections with cutting-edge third-party APIs such as HomeAway, VRBO, Airbnb, etc.

This position will be part of a small team of talented developers. This team is currently on a “hybrid schedule”, meaning some days we are in the office and some days we work remotely. During training, more days will be required in the office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet the user’s end goals
• Work with the project manager to meet specification needs
• Create new branches in software to accomplish new tasks
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Integrate with third-party APIs
• Document code via comments
• Perform software maintenance
• Assist in testing pre-release software changes
• Perform all other duties assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or multiple years of experience in programming
• Fundamental knowledge of programming languages
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Willing to learn
• (Preferred) Experience with Classic ASP, Crystal Reports, VB6, VBScript, C#, and .NET MVC
• (Preferred) Familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server
• (Preferred) Familiar with Postman app for testing APIs
• (Preferred) Familiar with WordPress, WordPress plugins, and PHP.
