    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support and enhance our procurement operations. This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of bulk raw materials. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on sourcing experience, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    · Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity.

    · Partner with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and procurement priorities.

    · Conduct market research to identify and evaluate qualified domestic and international suppliers.

    · Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and long-term agreements.

    · Monitor supplier performance, manage risks, and resolve quality or delivery issues proactively.

    · Utilize MRP systems to support inventory planning, demand forecasting, and materials management.

    · Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable regulations, including FAR, when required.

    · Maintain accurate procurement documentation and support continuous process improvement.

    Qualifications

    · Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese (required).

    · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred.

    · 5 ~ 6 years of experience in bulk materials sourcing, procurement, or materials management.

    · Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management.

    · Experience working with MRP systems and procurement tools.

    · Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

    · Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    · Experience in the food, nutrition, or ingredients industry is a plus

    Compensation & Benefits

    · Hourly Rate: $33 ~ $43/hour (approximately $70,000 ~ $90,000 annually), based on experience.

    · Performance Review: eligible for a potential raise after 90 days based on performance.
