    Job Description

    100% onsite although we are working remote right now due to the COVID restrictions Onsite is still a requirement as we support circuits, hardware, data centers and 140 locations and sometimes being there in person is the only way to address an issue Team of 21 people Interviews: - 2 rounds, may go to a 3rd only in special circumstance

    SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER Provide Tier II network services support, incident and problem management for a large enterprise network of close to 150 sites. Respond to operational requests day to day and act as the first level of escalation for incident resolution. Work closely with the other Senior Network Engineers and Project Engineers: review new service requests, respond quickly to incidents and operational outages, manage the network ticket queue and assist with operational and process improvements to ensure SLR's are met. Perform software and hardware upgrades as well as support circuit installations and cutovers.Report regular status of service requests and operational incidents to the SDM and Lead Senior Network Engineer

    THIS ROLE PERFORMS: Review and completion of operational service requests via the Service Now ticketing system Perform software and hardware upgrades to network equipment Perform onsite WAN and Internet circuit installations and turn ups Perform Site Surveys to support new and existing offices Respond to calls to the network team for operational support of field technicians Installation and implementation of network equipment in IDF’s and MDF’s at the project site Management of all network equipment supporting the enterprise for both project and operational requirements Monitor and resolve network incidents on a 24X7 basis The position maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and security hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls and gateways

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong experience with Software Defined networking such as SDAccess, SDWAN and SDN/ACI Strong experience with Cisco Systems network, security and datacenter products Strong Experience designing and deploying Cisco wireless technologies Experience supporting large enterprise networks

    Experience supporting circuit installations and cutovers Strong background with Service and Change Management

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience on network & cyber security

    Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Ability to present very complex technical concepts in understandable language Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
