Hiring DepartmentSales PlanningWork LocationMust reside in the New York city area - Hybrid roleAcademic BackgroundBachelor's Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)Languages English and Japanese - Must be fluent- speaking, reading, and writingJob Description①Assist the sales team in the Eastern / Canada Region in the following requests but not limited to:
・Product stock and delivery status
・Manage custom-made requests and correspond with the engineering team on feasibility & lead time
・Coordinate & connect with appropriate department(s) internally for various inquiries

②Aggregate & analyze the Eastern / Canada Regions' sales record data
・Data aggregation by product category, clients and provide analysis on the data

③Management of New York Showroom operation
・Evaluate & determine showroom display and layouts
・Negotiate and determine construction vendors / design firms and process internal approval
・Manage the renovation process to meet the construction schedule

④Product Analysis by Sales Records
・Data analysis on all china products by product series, clients and sales channels
・Create and analyze periodic records (monthly, quarterly, first/second half yearly) in Excel and create PowerPoint presentations
・Create and plan a sales promotion / sales strategies based on the analysis. Execute and carry out the plans/promotions results / outcome.
.Requirements【Requirements】
・Proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading in English for business meetings with local sales team and sales representatives.
・Able to achieve good working relationship between different department within TOTO to increase productivity.
・Proactive with handling challenging new tasks
・Patient and diligent with their work.
・Seeking stable, long-term employment.
・Strong ability to process large amounts of numerical data in Excel.
(Specifically, to extract sales data from the system and create reports using Excel)
・Proficient in Business English; both in writing and speaking
・Able to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

・Skills in using analytical tools such as Tableau.
・Experience in sales data management or work experience in numerical data.
・Advanced numerical analysis with Tableau.

＊Interviews will be held for those who pass the application screening.
＊Series of interviews will be conducted to determine employment.
(1st interview: Interview by staff, Final interview: Interview by HR + management staff)
＊During the 1st interview of each applicant, an excel assessment test will be administered.

• Test will include candidates proficiency with Excel functions.
• Screening assessment will also include essential features necessary for the role such as: Vlookup funtion, Sumif finction, Pivot tables, etc..
