Our client is seeking a Flexo Pressman ( Night Shift) for their Long Island location!

The core purpose of this role includes but not limited to; Setting up Flexo Wide Web Press, including the installation of film, cylinders, dies, and ink to print a quality product that meets production specifications.  Make adjustments in speed, tension, ink, viscosities, etc. as needed to achieve quality printed products.

Location - Long Island, NY

Hours - Monday - Thursday 7PM - 7AM

Rate - $20-$25 HR

 Responsibilities:

• Operate Flexo Wide Web printing press
• 5 Years experience operating a Flexo Wide Web Printer
• Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information
• Completion of product reports and Quality Assurance sheets for each job
• Print sample retention
• Notifies Production Supervisor/Press Lead and Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities
• Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work-in-process and/or finished product
• Inspect and ensure that raw materials have been approved for use
• Ensure all benchtop test and measuring equipment are properly calibrated
• Identification and control of Non-conforming material
• Set up and Clean up machine
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
