Position Overview:                                                                                                                                              We are looking for an experienced Equities Portfolio Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work remotely and collaborate closely with our investment professionals to enhance our equity portfolio management processes. This role requires a deep understanding of equity markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other front-office professionals to understand business needs and workflows.
• Analyze current portfolio management processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and document detailed business requirements and specifications.
• Work closely with technology teams to implement solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes and enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support to investment professionals and assist with ad-hoc requests.
• Stay informed about market trends and regulatory developments impacting equity portfolio management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in equities portfolio management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and investment products.
• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.
• Familiarity with portfolio management systems and trading platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred but not required.
