Job Title: NG911 PROJECT MANAGER

Job location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Contract – 12 Months

Pay Rate: $60 - $70/hr

TASKS:

• Manages the NG911 project and development technology vantage point to production Go-Live in support of FDNY (Fire & EMD).

• Oversees project planning, including assigning tasks with corresponding due dates, maintaining project schedules, minimizing and/or mitigating project slippages, and conducting necessary research.

• Identifies resources to develop and manage project plans, as well as effectively and efficiently utilizes staff, equipment and resources.

• Collaborates and coordinates activities across all divisions and units, other FDNY bureaus, and other entities within New York City government.

  MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

  Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing medium to large scale projects.

  DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  Knowledge, experience with City of New York and 9-1-1 systems
