Stratia Clothing is an online clothing brand with sales through a Shopify-based website. Two principals of the company live in the Bay Area, and the third lives in Texas. Our launch product is a hoodie made from technical antimicrobial fabric. Target market segments include air travellers and immunocompromised people. We’re looking for a can-do marketing intern to help us with branding, promotion and sales of the Half Zip Hoodie. This is a remote position, working from June to the end of August (essentially summer break). We have a limited social media presence, and we’d like a creative, quick-thinking person to help take the product to the next level. Your summer will involve designing and executing social media and retail sales campaigns, and measuring the results. Compensation is hourly plus a bonus for each hoodie sold. Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following qualities: Applied understanding of basic digital marketing principles Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) Creative problem-solving skills Self-starter with ability to work independently Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices Experience/interest in apparel or retail/consumer marketing Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills
