    Summary:

    The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the tracking of all products that come in and out of the studio. Shipping and Receiving Coordinator insures that articles get checked into the production system accurately, within a timely manner and according to the workflow processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for receiving, checking in, and tagging of all products into the production database or equivalent job sheet.
    • Data accuracy for data entry of product identification, location assignment, and to preparation status.
    • Notifies appropriate team members when items have arrived.
    • Routes items to the Merchandise Team.
    • Responsible for the product storage area including its efficiency and cleanliness.
    • Packages, ships, and keeps tracking of all outgoing articles.
    • Schedules couriers when needed.
    • Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
    • Maintains and organizes adequate shipping supplies.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years experience in shipping and receiving or related field.
    • Knowledge of digital commercial photography workflow process.
    • Creative agency experience or content production experience is desired.
    • High school degree or equivalent education.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional problem-solving skills dedicated to ensuring projects meet their requirements and provide adjustments when necessary.
    • The position requires clear and accurate communication, both internal and external, and skills in using various methods, including in-person, phone, email, and video conference.
    • This position requires that we always strive for high customer satisfaction, go out of our way to be helpful, respectful, approachable, and team-oriented, and build strong and positive working relationships.
    • Must be able to communicate at all levels clearly, concisely, and calmly.

    • Organizational skills are necessary. Must take ownership of the work, doing what is needed without being asked and following through.
    • The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will work independently and within a team. They must possess exceptional decision-making skills, be able to follow process documentation and think of creative ways to improve it.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
    • Moderate skill with a Mac operating system that utilizes Microsoft Office software programs, specifically Excel, and shipping via the Postal Office and Federal Express.
    • Ability to utilize web-based database management tools. (Examples: Workhorse, Access, Barcoding software).
    • 10 key data entry accuracy.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The salary range for this full-time position is $19-22, commensurate with experience and skills. This is a seasonal role that may be converted to full-time.

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical requirements described here represent those this position must meet.

    • Ability to stand or work on a cement studio floor for up to a full workday.
    • Ability to sit for long periods for up to a full workday as needed.
    • Repetitive use of hands and fingers (i.e., packing, tagging, steaming, pinning, data entry).
    • Must be able to see and hear to gather and input information; respond to face-to-face and telephone inquiries.
    • Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing a maximum of 30 lbs.
    • Able to work in low light conditions, with lamps versus overhead lighting.
    • Ability to walk throughout a warehouse floor following our internal safety guidelines.
