    Job Description

    SUMMARY:

    NAM Logistics Trainer will support and coordinate different quality and training duties within different logistics teams. This position will have to exercise solid management of the Logistics process improvements and development. This role will be responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum and delivering course content. This role is key to continued growth and success of employee on-boarding and development within the NAM logistics Department.  Key responsibilities will be to effective development, implementation, and track all training programs across the logistics organization. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager Warehouse & Logistics which works closely with all the NAM Logistics Managers.

    TRAINING: 80% would be spent on training activities

    ·  Develop, coordinate and administer a comprehensive training curriculum for both new hire and existing logistics employees

    ·  Responsible for coordinating all training, record keeping, updating, auditing and process compliances

    ·  Develop new training processes and follow up on the good execution of such. Continuously train employees as needed

    ·  Ability to perform trainer certifications and training file reviews

    ·  Perform data collection and analysis to monitor test result trends

    ·  Responsible for periodic reviews of file documents to ensure compliancy to quality regulations

    ·  Develop and manage a system of auditing warehouse locations on a weekly basis for status, identifications, safety, proper storage and publish reports

    ·  Create a Metric for tracking discrepancies in applicable auditing activities and include suggested corrective actions

    ·  Coordinates and collaborates with Regulatory, Warehouse supervisors and managers, HR and document control to ensure compliance for all training documentation

    ·  Develops, trains, and troubleshoots any SAP transactions for all Logistics business needs

    ·  Contribute and own business process deliverables

    ·  Define KPIs where necessary (ideally through internal or external benchmarking), analyze process performance and suggest process improvement or user training

    ·  Once new business process is implemented, monitor process adherence

    ·  Partner with other departments to create effective learning solutions to re-tool and re-skill associates in order to support business changes

    ·  Ensure Logistics Training records are kept updated

    ·  Ensure training is tracked and recorded, including progress and skill sets

    ·  Partner with the Logistics team during new product launch and develop a plan for training and smooth execution

    OTHER ACTIVITIES: 20% would be spent on supporting the Logistics team with other responsibilities

    ·  Help place supplies orders for the Logistics Team

    ·  Perform some Cycle Counts for the Logistics team

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·  A strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures

    ·  Have the ability to work flexible shifts when required (up to 30% of time)

    ·  Experience working across multiple teams and ensuring high employee engagement

    ·  Experience in developing dashboard reports

    ·  Knowledgeable in SAP system, movement types including troubleshooting different transactions

    ·  Creation and implementation of SOP’s

    ·  Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in Training of 30+ employees in a similar role

    ·  Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP required

    ·  Experience in working in a fast paced, reputable global Biotech / Pharmaceutical or Consumer company

    ·  Knowledgeable in 5S implementation and sustainment preferred

    ·  Experience with LMS (Learning Management Software like WeLearn would be a bonus)
