Job Description

Busy applicant workers’ compensation firm is looking for a full-time associate attorney to join our team. Our firm specializes in the representation of police officers and firefighters injured on duty. We are a high-volume practice that strives to bring a personal, client focused approach to each of our cases. The right addition to our team will be a hard-working, dedicated individual who can work well both individually and with our teams. 

Responsibilities:  •    Review client files to provide detailed file work ups for the handling attorney and the legal assistant •    Review medical reports to assess next steps, rate injuries and prepare for settlement •    Attend hearings, trials and depositions •    Contact clients to discuss case status and/or outcome of hearings or trials •    Work within a team to help move cases to a conclusion

Qualifications:  •    Juris doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited university  •    Admission to the California State Bar •    Interest in represented injured police and firefighters  •    Ability to work independently and with a team •    Comfortable working in a face paced environment  •    Professional demeanor  •    String problem solving abilities  •    We will train the right individual including newly admitted attorneys
