    Job Duties:

    Work alongside techs preparing camera gear for client orders that are scheduled to be rented

    Accurately and efficiently ensuring prep deadlines for client orders are met

    Deliver a professional level of customer service support to all clients

    Help clients by offering gear solutions and/or alternatives

    Troubleshoot various types of motion picture cameras and related equipment with techs or clients

    Ensure techs are supported and have all tools they need for successful client interactions

    Continuously look for ways to improve the process to drive efficiencies and better serve the customer needs

    Ensure all gear is quality-checked and organized in the gear room.

    Communicate with the Equipment Manager & equipment team on gear maintenance and subsequent support of equipment including inventory & cleaning

    Work is highly technical, involving disassembling and reassembling of camera parts and kits to troubleshoot them

    Conduct scheduled meetings with techs and equipment dept, follow up with staff for any procedural updates & performance reminders

    Manage weekly technician schedule ensuring there are enough techs to cover floor operations including time off requests & any covering that may need to take place

    Hiring & train tech staff on an as needed basis

    Encourage staff to learn & grow with technical knowledge including demos & workshops

    Manage yearly tech performance reviews

    Work with management to assess floor procedures and develop improvements to workflow.

    Skills/Experience Required:

    Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability to work on own initiative, and a high degree of accountability for self and others;

    Ability to manage multiple priorities;

    Proactive in gaining and maintaining service and technical knowledge/skill on offered equipment;

    Outstanding customer service orientation; willing to go the extra mile for both internal and external customers. Exhibits initiative on all client or equipment related issues and has great sense of urgency;

    Able to work and maintain effectiveness under pressure, within tight deadlines and changing priorities;

    Good understanding of PC operating systems and ability to learn proprietary rental software;

    Thorough, outstanding follow through and attention to detail. Highly organized and able to prioritize workload;

    Self-starter with strong interpersonal and oral communication skills;

    Builds and maintains effective team relationships. Understanding and appreciation for rental process and employees’ role in it. Works effectively within their own department and with supporting departments to meet customer needs;

    Flexible in approach to work and assignments. Able to adapt to changing situations and priorities seamlessly.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Rental house & Managerial experience preferred

    Must have industry standard motion picture gear knowledge & understanding of set operations

    Excellent communications skills, organized

    A four year college degree is preferred

    Be able to lift equipment, tools and materials and loading and unloading equipment weighing a minimum of 75 pounds.
