    Job Description

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The HRIS Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Human Resources Information System, UKG, to ensure accurate and efficient management of employee data, HR processes, and system functionality. This role will serve as a key resource to HR management for day-to-day tactical and operational concerns, as well as being focused on long-term strategic HRIS planning and implementations. This is a hybrid role in Downtown Dallas reporting to the CHRO.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Set-up, administer and maintain the UKG system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of UKG, ensuring it meets the needs of the HR department and the organization.
    • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure HRIS system alignment with business needs and objectives.
    • Design, implement and optimize workflows for various HR activities such as open enrollment and performance management cycles.
    • Provide support in the administration of the company’s annual merit and bonus programs, where applicable
    • Actively contribute to building new reports, trackers and databases related to HR and compensation.
    • Contribute company data for compensation surveys and analyze results of the surveys.
    • Manage system upgrades, implementations, and integration with other business systems.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training materials.
    • Generate and analyze HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of data-driven HR strategies and initiatives.
    • Provide technical support to HR staff and end-users, addressing issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and support requests.
    • Lead and manage HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, and process improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Work with IT and other departments to ensure system security and integrity.
    • Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements, and ensure vendor performance meets organizational standards.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 7-10 years of work experience working with HR systems and technology
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS administration with UKG
    • Experience implementing a new enterprise system(s) required
    • Strong knowledge of HRIS system functionality, reporting and data analysis
    • Experience with Workday implementation preferred
    • Experience managing direct reports preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and in laypeople terms
    • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Customer focus, especially in delivering high-quality results.
    • Able to think critically to solve complex, time-sensitive inquiries and data issues.
    • Bachelor’s degree required
