Street Sweeping Crew Lead

8pm-6am Mon-Fri
$22--$25 an hour+overtime+benefits

Duties

• Supervise and direct street sweeping crew members during daily operations
• Assign routes and monitor completion of scheduled sweeping activities
• Operate street sweeping vehicles and related equipment when necessary
• Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations
• Train new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and performance standards
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and route documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years experience in street sweeping, public works, landscaping, construction, or related field
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, depending on vehicle requirements)
