Position: Franchise Buildout Manager/Project Manager
Reports to: Director of Operations
OVERVIEW
Stretch Zone is a pioneer in the health and wellness segment of Practitioner Assisted Stretching. With over 100 stores open, we are the fastest growing and largest service provider in the industry. As a key team member of Stretch Zone Franchising, the Project Manager of New Store Openings is responsible for:
Actively managing vendors and tasks across multiple store openings and multiple franchisees
Establish and maintain a project plan with meaningful timelines and check points, logical links between activities, internal/external resources, and assumptions that depicts the activities in line with the approved global strategy and the input from the respective line functions
Close coordination with all approved vendors during the opening process.
Hands on involvement with franchisees to ensure stores are opened effectively and efficiently.
Track and forecasting of store open dates
Schedule project team meetings and develop meeting agendas. Lead project team meetings for routine operations, take minutes and ensure follow-up of action items from the minutes.
Prepare presentations as needed
Ensure alignment with other initiatives within Functional Sub-teams/areas
EDUCATION
Highly developed written and verbal communications skills in English
PMP, PMI, SCRUM certification not required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Knowledge and experience in leading projects
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Previous working experience in cross-functional teams
Franchising experience is not required, but recommended
