Position
This part-time position for the role of Sales Associate requires you to help us grow our membership by engaging on a personal level with potential members and provide for the safekeeping of our existing membership. Lead management and providing a positive customer experience are key elements of the position. Handling email, phone, and internet inquiries from potential and existing customers are critical to the success of the position. It requires some evenings and work.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager with the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and getting a commitment to buy.
Book and confirm sessions including intro, ongoing, and group classes
Manage the front desk to greet and check-in clients and prospects when they enter the studio
Strictly follow Covid Safety Check protocols enacted by the studio
Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting an individual’s needs and wants
Emphasize and enforce the objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
Present available services to current or prospective members
Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota and follow-up with leads and missed intro classes
Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, community and other marketing events) to promote the club
Ensure the studio is sanitized per Covid Safety protocols and help keep clean and tidy
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
Goal-oriented with an ability to meet or exceed sales in memberships and retail
Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Must have proficient computer skills
Daily and/or occasional travel may be required
