Stride Pest Control, one of the fastest-growing and highest-rated pest control companies in the Austin and San Antonio areas, is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated pest control technician to join our growing team. Never done pest control before? That’s OK! If you’re someone who has a passion for outdoor activities, likes to solve problems, and enjoys the challenge of working independently in a variety of conditions, we’re confident that you’ll absolutely love this field. In this role, you’ll manage every step of the customer’s journey from start to finish, upholding the high standards we've established and are known for in the communities we serve. More specifically, you will inspect homes and commercial spaces to identify pest issues, determine the least invasive solution, create a plan of action and communicate it to the customer, perform treatments using the chemicals you mix, answer questions and address concerns, offer pest prevention suggestions, complete paperwork and follow up with the customer after the service to check-in. Additionally, while sales aren’t required in this position, you will have the opportunity to sell services and you can earn a generous commission on any new business you bring in. Pretty cool, right? So why choose to work with Stride instead of another pest control company? We’re glad you asked! We offer competitive hourly compensation with bonus and incentive pay that increases the longer you stay with us, a take-home vehicle program, and a regular schedule where you’ll get the same days off every week. But wait - there’s more! Because we firmly believe in helping our team members reach their full potential both personally and professionally, we offer a mentoring program, paid training and licensing opportunities, and plenty of chances to advance within our organization. That said, we’re not all work and no play. We enjoy rewarding our employees for a job well done at company outings, lunches, and retreats for top performers. To us, there’s nothing better than celebrating these successes - it’s what gets us excited about coming to work every day. If you’re looking for a supportive, tight-knit work environment where you can grow, thrive, and make a difference in the lives of your team members and our customers, we’d love to welcome you to the Stride Pest Control family.
