    Overview:

    The Ad Sales Representative is responsible for setting sales appointments for the Business Development and Sales Team.  This individual will be in charge of researching potential Advertisers, consistent prospecting and relentless outreach.  This role sits at the forefront of Strikepoint Media's growth, bringing in a fresh stream of sales opportunities for the company.

    The Ad Sales Representative will support the Sales and Business Development team by prospecting, qualifying, and engaging new prospects and inactive clients alike.  

    This individual will be in charge of finding prospects through avenues such as LinkedIn, Google searches, and referral requests. This individual will organize all prospect information and carry out the sales process using Strikepoint's CRM (Hubspot).  

    This position requires the ability to pick up the phone, make a call, send a text message, communicate clearly, and take massive action on a daily basis.  

    This position requires the ability to stay organized and manage hundreds of potential client relationships to find the ones worth pursuing until they become a Strikepoint Advertising client.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital marketing and execution, a results-driven tenacity, the desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, an eye for detail, and the ability to build great personal and professional relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate new business opportunities by setting appointments for the Ad Sales team
    • Identify and reach out to cold prospects to set initial meetings
    • Maintain consistent outreach with identified prospects
    • Engage Owner/CEOs, CMOs, and Media Buyers through phone, email, and Linkedin to understand their business challenges and identify ad sales opportunities
    • Re-engage inactive clients by requalifying and reconnecting them with the Ad Sales team
    • Partner with Marketing Managers to achieve company-wide sales goals
    • Continuously improve prospecting processes, training, use of technology, and other aspects of our business development and sales efforts

    Requirements:

    • Technically savvy - Comfortable using multiple software applications (i.e., proficiency in Word, Excel, Hubspot) 
    • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal are a must

    • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus
    • Experience on a Sales Floor as a BDR/SDR either in SAAS, recruiting, ad sales or a similar field is a plus
    • Internship experience within a marketing environment, preferably at an advertising, digital or marketing agency is a plus
    • Some knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus
    • Some knowledge of direct response digital marketing is a plus
