    What you will be doing:

    • Oversee the performance of a portfolio of properties within your designated region.

    • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, occupancy rates, and resident satisfaction.

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of property managers and support staff.

    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the success of property management teams.

    • Develop and manage property budgets to optimize financial performance.

    • Review financial reports, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Ensure that all properties within the region comply with applicable housing regulations, which could include including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)

    • Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to ensure all properties meet compliance standards.

    • Oversee property maintenance and capital improvement projects.

    • Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure properties are well-maintained and safe for residents.

    • Monitor leasing efforts and occupancy rates.

    • Address resident concerns and ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.

    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure services are cost-effective and meet quality standards.

    • Prepare and present regular reports on property performance to senior management.

    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What you will need:

    • Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in property management, with a track record of success in overseeing multiple properties.

    • Knowledge of affordable housing regulations, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and HUD requirements preferred

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

    • Exceptional financial acumen and budget management experience.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
