Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy

Active IL license (PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, or LCPC)

OR clinician pursuing licensure that comes highly recommended

Available 32 hours per week with the expectation of holding at least 25 clinical hours

Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist clients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments

Provide mental health therapy for individuals

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client information and treatment plan

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Contribute to the positive culture of the team and workplace

Contribute to the collaborative efforts of reducing the stigma of mental health through events, workshops, social media, or presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field

Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license

Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
