    What You’ll Do:

    · Assist in the development and design of structural systems for buildings and related structures using AutoCAD and structural analysis software (ETABS, ADAPT, etc.).

    · Review architectural plans and specifications to identify structural requirements, applicable building codes, and safety standards.

    · Perform structural calculations to determine appropriate materials, loads, and stress capacities.

    · Contribute to the creation of detailed construction drawings and documentation.

    · Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project consultants to ensure cohesive building systems.

    · Participate in job site visits and coordination meetings with contractors and clients.

    · Evaluate existing buildings and assist in preparing retrofit or repair strategies.

    · Use modeling software to simulate structural behavior and adjust designs as needed.

    · Support project managers in maintaining budgets and timelines.

    · Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and innovative design technologies.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus).

    · EIT certification or intent to pursue.

    · Solid understanding of structural principles and building materials (wood, steel, concrete, and masonry).

    · Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn industry-specific software.

    Preferred:

    · Internship or co-op experience in structural engineering.

    · Familiarity with structural analysis programs such as ETABS, ADAPT, or similar.

    · Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Don’t meet every single qualification? We encourage you to apply anyway. We’re looking for emerging engineers with passion, curiosity, and a desire to learn. If you're excited about this role and ready to grow, we want to hear from you.
