SGI Structural is an engineering consulting company providing design and consulting services to our clients in the residential, commercial, education, and infrastructure sector. We are a woman owned business and have locations in the DC and Seattle area. If you're passionate about engineering, have practical solutions to unique problems, and want to join our team, we would be happy to consider your resume.
Position
Structural Design Engineer. This is a hybrid position consisting primarily of work from home with a requirement to visit job sites in the DC metro area a few times a month and work from our Baltimore office on an as needed basis. Working from the office is commonly only needed twice a month. Site visits are needed when the client or builders need them so all applicants will need to be local and able to drive to project sites. Working from home is acceptable when projects or meetings do not require you in person.
Applicants will be expected to design buildings and components under the direction of a project manager or senior engineer. Coordinating directly with the client to advance the project through design will be expected. Engineers with past experience in the field or in construction are appreciated.
