Structural Engineer
Area: Cedar Rapids Area
Shift: 1st Shift (Hybrid – 3 days onsite minimum)

Job Summary:

• Design and analyze structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood for industrial projects
• Perform structural calculations and ensure designs meet applicable codes and client standards
• Develop and review 3D models and drawings using tools such as RISA-3D
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accurate and coordinated designs
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to assess existing structures and conditions
• Prepare engineering documentation including reports, studies, and project notes
• Support construction phases including coordination with contractors and resolving field issues
• Select appropriate materials and construction methods based on project requirements
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with minimal supervision
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance across all engineering outputs
