What You’ll Do:
Lead the design of structural systems for gravity and lateral loads across a variety of building types
Manage projects from concept through construction completion, coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and internal team members
Design and analyze concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structural systems
Oversee project budgets, staffing, and design documentation
Contribute to business development and foster long-term client relationships
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation
Balance technical leadership and project management while taking advantage of the firm’s hybrid work model
What You’ll Need:
5–10 years of structural building design experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Structural Engineer (SE) license, or actively pursuing licensure
Proven expertise in designing with concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment that supports a hybrid work schedule
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis (no current or future visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing project budgets and manpower planning
Familiarity with structural analysis and design software tools
Prior experience contributing to business development and client relationship efforts
