Structural Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of safe, accurate, and cost-effective metal building systems. In this role, you’ll ensure structural integrity, quality, and performance across a wide variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design structural steel, wall/roof panels, secondary members, and bracing systems.

• Perform structural analysis using specialized software for frames, bracing, cranes, mezzanines, and panels.

• Collaborate with detailing and project teams to communicate design requirements.

• Review and check structural drawings for accuracy.

• Pursue ongoing professional growth and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus preferred).

• Strong knowledge of structural building codes (IBC, AISC, ASCE, AISI, etc.).

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry.

• Proficiency with metal building design software.
