About the Role
KPFF is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience for our San Francisco team. In this role, you’ll take on increasing technical responsibility while staying closely involved in day-to-day structural design, analysis, modeling, and coordination. You’ll be either PE licensed or actively working toward licensure as you continue to build your technical expertise.
This position is centered on hands-on design work and active participation on project teams. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced engineers who value mentorship and technical excellence, giving you the opportunity to deepen your skills, learn through real project work, and grow into greater responsibility over time within a supportive, design-focused environment.

Compensation
KPFF offers a competitive base salary that reflects your experience, technical skill set, and professional background. For this role, the anticipated salary range is $90,000–$115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
In addition to base pay, KPFF recognizes individual and team contributions through performance-based bonuses at the Reporting Center level. More details on compensation, incentives, and benefits will be shared as part of the interview process.
