    We are on the lookout for an experienced Regional Director of Hotel Sales to lead sales initiatives and achieve revenue targets across our hotel portfolio in the Mountain States region. In this key role, you will develop and implement our sales strategy, set revenue goals, and ensure the effective execution of sales initiatives. Collaborating with hotel general managers, you will drive sales and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, innovator, and diligent professional with at least 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet the hotel's financial goals, drive revenue growth, and ensure high levels of occupancy and profitability. Collaborate with the VP of Operations, hotel general managers, and the Revenue Management team to align goals and optimize revenue • Deliver weekly sales activity reports and monthly sales expense reports to keep department managers informed about all sales-related expenses. Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences to develop an annual sales forecast and identify opportunities and challenges • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts, including phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network. Create and implement methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders. Develop compelling sales materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of our hotels • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts. Oversee sales budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently • This hybrid role involves up to 50% travel, including visits to hotels, sales training, and meetings. Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Salt Lake City, UT, or the Mountain States region, ideally near a major metro airport for ease of travel Qualifications: • Competitive salary with performance-based quarterly incentives • Demonstrated success in sales, with a strong track record in lead generation and closing deals • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with required experience in major hotel chains such as Hilton, Choice, Wyndham, or IHG • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Additional hospitality certifications are a plus, but a solid sales background and passion for the industry are essential • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer software • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to addressing challenges • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations • Comfort with extensive screen time and active participation in phone and video communications Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly
