JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Project Located near Socorro, NM.
• DUTIES INCLUDE: operating a variety of hand and power tools, clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces and concrete forms, clean up rubble, debris and waste materials, assist craft workers.
• FUNCTIONS ESSENTIAL TO THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: strenuous manual labor in concrete construction project, perform manual work in preparing surfaces for concrete, shovel concrete into construction area, fine grade fill to grades given by foreman, maintain clean jobsite, pick up tools and equipment and secure the jobsite each day to eliminate potential hazards, material handling (lifting up to 50lbs), load and unload trucks and hoist materials, work and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions, regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and exposure to dust and concrete. 
• Excellent stamina is required.
• Must be able to lift, push or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and effectively jump, sprint or throw an object.
• Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
• Noise level is generally loud.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Davis/Bacon Wages.
