    Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Columbus, IN area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

    Performs various duties related to maintenance, and upkeep of machinery, equipment, building and grounds. This will include analyzing operational problems, testing equipment, correcting issues, develop and maintain plans, and provide input and suggestions regarding maintenance issues. Openings on the following shifts2nd Shift: 2:50pm - 11:00pm 3rd Shift: 10:50pm - 7:00amResponsibilities: - Perform various duties relating to maintenance and upkeep of machinery, equipment, buildings and grounds

    • Schedule repairs to meet project schedule and requirements.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining plans for preventative maintenance for machinery and equipment
    • Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational issues on assigned equipment and develop corrective action
    • Make necessary repairs and run adjustments to maintain productivity.
    • Test equipment and machinery for operation after repairs are made.
    • Analyze and correct electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
    • Repair/overhaul hydraulic equipment and controls
    • Ability to effectively manage time and meet specified deadlines
    • Quote orders for spares and replacement parts
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management
    • Provide input and suggestions regarding infrastructure planning and placement

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years in an Industrial Maintenance setting or two year Industrial Maintenance coursework and 2 years in an Industrial Maintenance capacity
    • Must be able to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics/diagrams, knowledge of various testing instruments.
    • Working knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, welding and fabrication, and hydraulic/pneumatic applications.
    • Hands on experience with repairing hydraulic systems
    • Thorough working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance programs
    • Work well in a team environment, have good written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, etc.)

    Educational Requirements- High School GED or Trade School coursework

    • Completion of accredited trade school or journeyman’s program preferred

    Physical Requirements:- In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, some physical demands are required. The individual in this position will be frequently engaged in activities that require body mobility in order to engage in: lifting and carrying items in excess of 50 lbs., moving about in the workplace utilizing ladders, catwalks, and scaffolding. The individual in this position will need to sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and stoop regularly. Maintaining regular attendance, following instructions, understanding workplace materials, and communicating with others are essential to being successful in this role.
