Job Description
The Student Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive school advising plan that supports students' academic achievement, career planning, and social-emotional development. The advisor will spend at least 90% of their time on direct and indirect services to students and no more than 10% on administrative duties.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Licenses: Standard Arkansas Teaching License and Valid Arkansas Counseling certification; or be eligible for licensure through reciprocity; or enrolled in an Alternative Licensure Program (ALP).
Experience: Prior experience in a school advisory or counseling role is preferred.

Compensation
Community Advisor will be based on individual experience and within the SY 2025-26 Salary Schedule range.
