    ******JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE**

    Delta Utilities is seeking motivated student interns to support our IT, Finance, and Transformation Management Office (TMO) teams. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment while contributing to critical projects that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This will be a mentorship and professional development opportunity and provide you with exposure to real-world projects, industry practices and networking opportunities with industry professionals.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • IT Support: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, support software development projects, and contribute to cybersecurity initiatives.
    • Finance Support: Participate in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting activities, and assist in streamlining financial processes.
    • TMO Support: Collaborate on strategic transformation projects, track progress, and provide administrative support to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making across departments.
    • Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
    • Engage in cross-functional teamwork to address business challenges.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education required of the position

    • Currently enrolled in a degree program in IT, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Interest in the energy sector and commitment to Delta Utilities' mission.

    • Able to respond to emergency calls and/or callouts and occasionally return to work while off duty.
    • Able to wear and operate personal protective equipment, such as respirator, safety glasses, hardhat, gloves, protective footwear and earplugs daily.
    • Able to be included in random drug screen pool required for DOT drivers and DOT safety sensitive positions.
    • May be required to remain in the service area during emergency events and assume responsibilities assigned by the company to aide in restoration efforts
