    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Key Account manager who will partner with our existing customers and ensure their long-term success. The Key Account manager role is to manage a portfolio of assigned key accounts, develop new business, and actively seek new opportunities within these accounts.

We also target Health professionals such as General Practitioners, Dermatologists, Pediatricians and Cosmetologists.

    We are a privately held Multi-National Company looking for an experienced and passionate key account manager to join our leadership team in our Los Angeles based Global Headquarters. Since 1976, Studex has been at the apex of manufacturing and designing ear piercing systems and allergy-free fashion earrings and Aftercare. Today we are the world’s leader and largest manufacturer of ear piercing instruments, studs, and supplies. With 40+ offices worldwide, we strive to provide customers with the highest quality products, as well as marketing and sales assistance to sustain their success.

    KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Key Account Manager nurtures and develops relationships with strategically important Key accounts and represents the organizations entire range of products and services while leading the overall strategy and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met and aligned with our organization’s goals and expectations. This includes acquiring additional revenue streams from existing accounts as well as acquiring new customers who can benefit from our product and service offerings.

    KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    · Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and managing the day-to-day operations and ongoing project management within the accounts and in accordance with all vendor & supplier processes and compliance programs

    · Account Sales and Profit & Loss Management; vigilant management of the account “checkbook” for promotional and merchandising programs

    · Active involvement and understanding with account sales analytics (Weekly POS review, Leveraging POS Data for Customer Business Development Opportunities)

    · Demand planning and forecasting as well as managing excess and opportunity inventory

    · Prior Experience managing and working with Brokers a plus

    · Familiarity with retailer portal requirements (Retail link/POS gathering, vendor agreements, other online requirements)

    · Ideal candidate can identify customer needs and exceed client expectations through effective needs assessment, proposals, project management and execution of deliverables

    · Collaborate with our internal teams including our international offices to grow our business

    · Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to our customers

    · Develop and maintain strong, productive, long-lasting, professional trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

    · Negotiating account management contracts and agreements in line with business expectations

    · Proactively leads the strategic account planning process and develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and time specified milestones

    · Coordinates the involvement of internal company personnel, including support, service, production, marketing, and management resources to meet business objectives

    · Leads by example and takes ownership and accountability for a solution-based approach to making us a customer centric best in class organization

    · Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives including professional presentations, project management and ongoing reporting

    · Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders through in person presentations and ongoing reporting

    KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS

    · Proven 5+ years’ work experience as A Key Account or National Account manager or other relevant experience in Mass Market, Health & Beauty, or related CPG Industry

    · Familiarity in dealing with either Mass Market, Pharmacy, Health and Beauty Retailers

    · Buying or Planning experience in big box retail environment is a major plus

    · Strong Data Analytics & Reporting (familiarity with POS, Data Sync, Retail link, etc.)

    · Proficient with CRM, Office, Project Management software and business applications

    · Proactive and self-motivated with proven ability to manage multiple projects

    · Excellent listening, verbal, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

    · Four-year college degree from an accredited institution a plus

    · Must be willing to travel for meetings & trade shows. Some weekend travel maybe required
