Studio Advisor — Sales & Member Experience
The Studio Advisor is a key revenue-driving role responsible for converting studio traffic into membership growth and ongoing sales. As the face of BODYROK, you’ll build strong relationships with potential, new, and existing members and actively guide them into the best membership or package options for their goals. This is a sales-first position that requires confidence, initiative, and the ability to genuinely connect with people while delivering an exceptional studio experience.
In this role, you’ll not only uphold BODYROK’s service standards—you’ll directly contribute to the studio’s financial success through daily sales activity, proactive outreach, and consistent follow-up. Monthly sales targets are part of this role, and your earning potential is directly tied to your performance. With uncapped commissions, your drive determines your income.
Primary Responsibilities
SALES (Core Focus of This Role)
Drive membership and package sales through in-studio conversations, tours, follow-up emails, outbound outreach, and client relationship building.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Convert ClassPass, first-time, and drop-in visitors into recurring members.
Actively promote current studio specials, intro offers, and membership upgrades.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, client engagement, and community connection.
Track sales activity, follow up with all leads, and maintain an organized pipeline.
Reconcile all transactions and maintain accurate reporting.
Member & Guest Experience
Greet every member/guest warmly and authentically, setting the tone for their visit.
Ensure smooth check-in procedures, monitor incoming emails, and provide timely responses.
Guide prospective members through tours, highlighting equipment, class formats, and the BODYROK difference in a way that supports sales conversion.
Handle member account needs (billing, freezes, questions, updates) with professionalism and efficiency.
Follow up with new members to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Operations & Studio Presentation
Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming studio environment (front desk, entryway, bathrooms, changing rooms, towels/laundry, trash).
Perform routine hourly checks of the studio and bathroom areas.
Support instructors to ensure each class delivers the BODYROK Service Promise.
Log supply needs and maintenance issues.
Assist with merchandise sales and maintain a tidy retail display.
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of sales or customer service experience required; fitness or membership-based sales strongly preferred
Proven ability to meet sales goals and thrive in a performance-based environment
Confident communicator who is excited to talk to people, learn their goals, and guide them into the right membership
Independent, proactive, and driven—comfortable working without micromanagement
Warm, friendly, and engaging personality; easily builds rapport
Organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud studio environment
Must be available to work at least 2 weekend days per month
Familiarity with MindBody is a +
High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs
Occasional sitting, walking, kneeling, reaching
Compensation
Base hourly rate + uncapped commission on all completed sales. Monthly sales targets apply.
