    Studio Designer is looking for someone to head up our LA office and assist in ensuring the success of our growing HR needs. 

    You will work with the leadership team across a broad spectrum, working with us to improve our overall People Operations, including day-to-day office management, benefits coordination, compliance, recruitment, hiring and onboarding, etc. This person will work cross functionally with all department heads to meet the broader mission at Studio Designer.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Office Coordination

    • Monitor office supplies and ordering new furniture, appliances and electronics as required
    • Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order
    • Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures
    • Helping with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses 
    • Maintain documentation on insurance, including office equipment and property
    • Work with leadership to ensure effective management of tech inventory and company software licensing.

    Human Resources

    • Assist in recruitment of short- and long-term personnel through collection and verification of candidate documentation
    • Organize and participate in review of job applications, candidate shortlisting, and interviews as needed
    • Conduct termination procedures, including arranging exit interviews, and collection of all equipment and termination documents
    • Form and maintaining employee records
    • Manage HCM/HRIS system
    • Prepare and amend where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides
    • Report regularly on HR metrics, such as company turnover
    • Be the first point of contact for employees on any HR and Payroll related queries

    IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience as a HR administrator or HR administrator’s assistant 
    • Understanding various HR software systems
    • Technically adept with software and hardware within an office environment
    • 2+ years of relevant experience and progressive responsibility in office administration, and human resources
    • Accuracy in working with sensitive data
    • Ability to respond effectively to time sensitive demands & inquiries
    • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills as well as exceptional customer relations (both internal & external); provides sound business judgment and contractual oversight
    • Excellent communications and personnel management skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and of different multi-cultural backgrounds
