    The Role

    The Accounting Data Services Specialist would be responsible for providing technical assistance to Studio Designer’s customers and Customer Success department and be a subject matter expert of the accounting software of our platform. You would also be key in organizing and inputting current and incoming customer accounting data to the correct location in our platform. This role requires organization, attention to detail, and being comfortable dealing with accounting data.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers or the Customer Success department, specifically regarding the accounting inquiries or tickets.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our products and services.
    • Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or department.
    • Move client data from one platform to the other by gathering, sorting, organizing, and reporting data, information, and documentation.
    • Maintain and update customer files in our customer support system.
    • Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
    • Provide accounting expertise and advice as part of the initial Sales discovery consultation.

    What You’ll Need

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or related field.
    • 3 + years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
    • Experience working at a SaaS company is highly preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access.
    • Knowledge of accounting terms and software such as QuickBooks.
    • Experience with customer support systems such as Zendesk and HubSpot.
    • Strong attention to detail and process driven.
    • Ability to work transparently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Knowledge of the interior design industry is a plus.
