Job Summary:

Waxing the City is seeking a Studio Lead (Licensed Esthetician) who is passionate about client care, team development, and results-driven performance.

This role is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for delivering exceptional waxing services while mentoring team members, maintaining brand standards, and supporting daily studio operations. The ideal candidate is both a top-performing service provider and a natural leader.

Responsibilities:

Perform professional, high-quality waxing services

Deliver exceptional client experiences and build long-term relationships

Train, coach, and support estheticians to ensure consistent service quality

Lead by example in performance, professionalism, and customer service

Promote and sell services and retail products

Assist with scheduling, inventory, and daily studio operations

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards

Support team in achieving service and retail goals

Qualifications:

Active Esthetician or Cosmetology License (required)

2+ years of waxing or skincare experience preferred

Previous leadership, coaching, or training experience a plus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on client retention

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Pay: Hourly + Commission
